& Soccer Resilience Ambassador
Brandt Bronico is a veteran MLS midfielder for Charlotte FC whose career has been built on resilience, consistency, and relentless work. After starring at UNC Charlotte and earning Conference USA Player of the Year honors, he was selected by the Chicago Fire in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. He later returned to North Carolina to join Charlotte FC, where he has become one of the club’s longest-serving players.
As a Soccer Resilience Ambassador, Brandt shares how mental fitness, daily habits, and a commitment to steady improvement have helped him navigate setbacks and sustain a professional career.
Brandt’s path to professional soccer began with countless hours of training in High Point, North Carolina. From leading UNC Charlotte to NCAA Tournament appearances to competing for the Chicago Fire, Charlotte Independence, and Charlotte FC, each stage of his career has reinforced the value of consistent effort and belief in long-term growth.
His message to players is simple: small improvements add up. Staying focused, working through adversity, and investing in your mental fitness can turn setbacks into opportunities.
"I could feel myself getting, 1% better. I started to buy into the mental fitness side of things. Ā

It's been extremely important and I would not be here if I had not been exposed to that and bought into it."
