Brianna Pinto | NWSL Player
& Soccer Resilience Ambassador
Brianna Pinto is a professional midfielder for the Chicago Stars. After a stellar youth and college career at UNC Chapel Hill, she was selected third overall in the 2021 NWSL Draft and has continued to establish herself as a dynamic presence in the professional game. A standout on and off the field, Brianna has overcome adversity to achieve her dreams and inspires others through her work ethic, resilience, and commitment to growth.
Before turning professional, Brianna competed at the highest levels of youth and college soccer, representing the United States across multiple youth national teams and earning two First-Team All-America honors at UNC Chapel Hill. Those experiences, along with the challenges she has navigated as a professional, reinforced the importance of patience, self-belief, and investing in mental well-being.
As a Soccer Resilience Ambassador, Brianna encourages athletes to treat mental fitness as an essential part of their development. She is passionate about helping the next generation build the tools needed to thrive in soccer and in life.
"Many athletes, including myself, have neglected mental strength training. This is a mistake, as mental strength is critical for success in sport and life.
